Tamales!

Spent saturday with our neighbor making tamales! All day event-But so worth it! They turned out so yummy, the house smelled delicious, and we have the meal that we are in charge of for Brians family snoemobile trip taken care of :)

In 2011

I want to: Get off my butt and do something! no matter if it is cleaning or working out, I want to do something productive. Get the sewing machine out and complete some of my projects that I have had sitting around for more than a couple of years. Take more pictures. Scrapbook more. I will: Turn 26. Celebrate 5 years of Marriage. Have two (possibly more) neices and nephews join our family, one from my side and one from Brians. Blog more. I am determined to: be more active in church. I have a habbit of only reaching out to my Heavenly Father when I am scared, worried, or overwehelm. I need to be growing closer to him all the time, not just when I need Him. Happy New Year!

no White Christmas this year...

This year we had a great christmas, we all got what we asked for and then some, I haven't figured out how to work my 'and then some' stuff, but it will come with time :) Christmas tree is still up! prob will not come down until Saturday, By then it will be next year:) it is already 9:15pm and there is still much to do tonight around the house. Maybe tomorrow :) Later ps it did not snow...I got to wear my flipflops on Christmas day!

The Good, The Bad and The Grumpy

Happy Monday! Today started off good, and then it got bad, and then it got worse, and then I got grumpy, and then it got good again. Started off as a normal Monday, then 45 minuets later one of the girls on my team leaves for the day. Ended up doing over 300 tasks and almost 70 calls, normally I do around 200 tasks and 35-40 calls on a Monday. Thats the good, the bad, the worse and the grumpy. Too long of a day. Tonight was date night with Brian, we went to a kitchen store to look at steamers to cook Tamales, we found an idea that might work thats only 20 dollars instead of 40-100 bucks. We did dinner, Sears, advance autos, and Big lots. no major finds, no finds at all in fact. tomorrow is comming too soon!

Mexican Cooking Day!

Today I spent the day cooking fantastic stuff. I made Salsa and Tamales. I am exhausted from all the cooking. Good thing is that it was all easy to do! the hard part was taking the time to do it :) I haven't tasted any of them yet... but I am hopefull!

Tuesdays Rants and Raves

Rants 1. Sad it is only Tuesday and not Friday 2. I still have to make dinner tonight 3. Laundry...need I say more? Raves 1. I am excited Monday is over! 2. Today I ordered a Bountiful Basket of fruit and veggies, Granola and Tomatos from a Co-op 3. At work I was able to complete all my assignments and help others with their assignments 4. Took Bo, our two year old Lab/golden retreiver for a walk 4.5 Bo behaved on our walk 5. I know what we are having for dinner 6. NCIS is on tonight! 7. I have a husband who loves me for me :) Lucky for me I have more things to be excited about than not!
